Environment

Ramnäs Offshore AB is certified for ISO 14001:2015 which is the international standard for Environmental Management Systems.

ISO 14001 is the principal management system standard which specifies the requirements for the formulation and maintenance of an EMS. There are three fundamental commitments required in an environmental policy that meets the requirements of ISO 14001 and these include: prevention of pollution, compliance with legislation and continual improvement of the EMS.

In order to implement the environmental way of thinking in our everyday work; the waste at Ramnäs Offshore AB is collected and recycled as much as possible. All employees at Ramnäs Offshore AB are given sufficient environmental education and our constant strive is to reduce our C0₂emissions in the production by transition to alternative energy.

To decrease our footprint on the environment we have made various investments over the years, for example a new cooling water system where excessive heat from cooling water are used to heat up our premises and converting our furnaces to be powered by natural gas (LNG). To stay in the forefront even in the next generation chain production we are continuously improving to make our future environment sustainable.
