Normally two loads of chain leave Ramnäs Bruk each week, heading towards the Port of Uddevalla or the Port of Gävle. From the port our chain leaves Sweden for its final destination anywhere in the world.

Highway to an Improved Future
Ramnäs Bruk’s entire personnel perform a systematic development-work in order to improve the procedures in each part of the organization. During the last weeks all personnel have participated an education in Lean Production where new ways of thinking and acting were presented and well received.
Keep up the Summer Heat!
Ramnäs is keeping up the summer heat from the holidays with our new furnace. The new furnace was installed, initiated and tested in May this year and it has an increased chain speed with 30% compared to our prior furnace.
Our new furnace has proven excellent mechanical properties of heat treated chain.

The annual leave is approaching, though Sales- and Marketing department is open all summer.

Cocktail Reception at OTC
The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas, takes place from 6th to 9th of May at the Reliant Centre.
